- Swamp Fox: His name was Francis Marion. He used Guellira Warfare to attack the soldiers. The tactic was by shooting and running. This was repeated. It was because the British had better weapons and training, then them.
- Get cannons ready
- Loyalists : people who are loyal to the king, and support the British. They also helped the British during the American Revolution.
- Another Win For Us
- General gates, our general is dead
- It was a major victory, entirely made up of Americans, and barely any British. It was a battle mostly with Countrymen. This happened October 7th, 1780
- King will be happy
- We lost once again
- Charlestown was a major victory for the British. They gained control over the south, and lots of American soldiers died. This happened may 12th 1780
- The Battle of Camden was another major victory for the British. On August 16th, 1780. Cornwallis went after general Gates. This happened in the state of South Carolina.
- In 1779, the British army had captured the city of Savannah in Georgia. Americans were going to recapture the Savannah with the help of the French.
