- The fur trade occurred mostly in Canada. It started in Quebec then moved westward towards where the beavers lived.
- HOW did it impact history?
- The fur trade impatded in canada because if ther was not a fur trade it there would not be any explorers
- The fur trade occured between 1600 to 1800. It lasted for almost 250 years
- The French and English wanted to have access to control the fur trade. All of the countries to control the trade because they wanted money land, and power.

- The fur trade led to the development of Canada. Trading posts and settlesments began to show up all over Canada. Canada was a land full of resources.
