Odysseus and his men hide in a wooden horse in front of their enemies castle. The people in the castle take the wooden horse inside. When everyone is sleeping, Odysseus and his men, jump out and attack their enemies.
While Odysseus's men enjoy the goods and the food they stole, their enemies called in backup. Odysseus losses six of his men.
Odysseus comes across a land full of lotus eaters. The people on this island encourage his men to eat the lotus plant. Three of the men give in, and eat this plant and loses "their hope of home"
Odysseus and his men get trapped in a cave with a cyclopes. The cyclopes eats six of Odysseus's men. Odysseus and the rest of his men blind the cyclopes, and escape from the cave.
Odysseus comes to The Island of Aeolia, and meets the ruler of the winds. Aeolia presents Odysseus with a bag of winds to help him return home. On the tenth day they can see Ithaca in the distance, but Odysseus's men get suspicious of whats in the bag. They open the bag which blows them all the way back to The Island of Aeolia.
Odysseus's eleven out of the twelve ships get destroyed by the Laestrygonians, who are giant cannibals. Everyone dies except for the men on Odysseous's ship
