- The king is hosting a ball to find his son a bride!
- Rising Action
- When Cinderella’s father died, she had to live with her stepsisters and stepmother. Cinderella’s stepsisters and stepmother treated her poorly. They made her cook, clean, and do chores. They did not treat her like part of the family.
- Climax
- The prince was hosting a ball so he could find a bride. All women were invited, but Cinderella’s stepmother didn’t want her to go.
- Falling Action
- Cinderella’s fairy godmother helped to dress her up so she could go to the ball. However, she was told she had to leave at midnight. When she got to the ball, she danced with the Prince.
- Resolution
- When the clock struck midnight, Cinderella rushed away from the ball. As she ran, she lost her glass slipper on the steps.
- The prince used the slipper that was left on the steps to find Cinderella. He let all the females in the land try it on, including the stepsisters. The slipper didn’t fit anyone.
- Cinderella tried on the slipper and it fit! Cinderella and the Prince got married and lived happily ever after.
