I am so poor, and there is nothing I can do about it...
inciting incident
"The Minister of Education and Mme. Georges Rampouneau request the pleasure of M. and Mme. Loisel's company at the Ministry, on the evening of Monday January 18th."
rising action
I thought that you would be happy my dear.
What am I supposed to do with this ?
At the beginning of the story, Mathilde Loisel, was very poor. She exclamed that she had no jewls, no dresses, and a very down graded shabby house.
climax
OH NO. The necklace is gone...
When Mathilde´s husband, Monsieur Loisel, comes home from work, he handed her this letter. The letter states that she and her husband were invited to a ball. A fancy one.
falling action
Oh no. I lost her necklace and she´s right there, I have to confess it to her.
Mathilde... That necklace was a fake. I only payed 500 francs at the most for that.
After Mathilde was handed the letter, she pratically broke down and got angry and upset. She reacted this way because she had nothing fancy to dress in. No jewls or necklaces, no dresses or fancy shoes.
resolution
I payed off the price of the necklace and got a new one to replace it
Madame, I have to confess something.... I lost your necklace
At this moment, Mathilde realizes that the necklace that she borrowed from her rich friend, Madame Forestier, is truly lost, and she cannot find it anywhere.
Mathilde sees her friend on the way to the market, and realizes that at some point, she is going to have to tell her friend that she has lost the necklace, and cannot find it.
At the end of the story, Mathilde confessed to Madame that she has lost the necklace, and that she has boutgh another one to replace it. And then Madame confessed that it was a fake necklace....
