A hospital is a place of healthcare that offers patient care using skilled medical staff, equipment, and technology. The provincial government is responsible for organizing, managing, and providing health services to its inhabitants.
Prison is a place where people are legally held as punishment for a crime they have committed or while they wait for trial. Adults sentenced to less than two years of custody, those held while awaiting trial or sentencing , those completing community penalties, such as probation, and minors in trouble with the law are all under the jurisdiction of the provincial and territorial governments.
Getting educated is the process of learning about the world and oneself. The provincial government create and manage a yearly budget, hire and promote educators, establish regional rules for schools, construct buildings, and buy supplies.
