  • Presidential Reconstruction
  • I Andrew Jackson believe that African-Americans should not have rights.
  • Black Codes
  • Section 4: We have to do service for whites.
  • We cannot own a house in the Parish.
  • Radical Reconstruction
  • Freedom for all.
  • During Presidential Reconstruction the main plan was to rebuild America was to let the South or former Confederacy States come back in with out any punishment. He though that the African-Americans wouldn't know how to live without working for Whites and so let the black codes.
  • White League & KKK
  • The Black Codes were meant to limit or get rid of the rights of African-Americans and they were passed by the South because they didn't want them to have more rights or power than them.
  • Freedmen's Bureau
  • Radical Reconstruction's plan to rebuild America was first of all not to let the former Confederacy States come back into the Union without punishment. Also they wanted to give the African-Americans more right and five them equality.
  • Compromise of 1877
  • We have fixed the problem.
  • The White League and KKK where terrorists groups that wanted to get rid of all the rights of African-Americans and they wanted to punish any whites that helped the African Americans.
  • The Freedmen's Bureau was a new service the African-Americans because they gave them food and medicine. People didn't like this because they said that they were wasting to much money on them.
  • The Compromise of 1877 was the end of Reconstruction. They basically just went back to the America that it was before the war.
