  • Due to the vinegar the egg grew and became slightly transparent .The mass grew to 96.13 g. This means it went through a hypotonic solution.
  • When we switched the vinegar for corn syrup the egg shrank and became very fragile. The mass declined to 64.90. This means it went through a hypertonic solution.
  • When the corn syrup was replaced with distilled water the egg grew and became slightly bouncy. The mass grew to 97. This means it went through an isotonic solution.
