- ExpositionThe King, Hrothgar and the Danish people are happy and rejoiced while singing and dancing in the beautiful and exquisite Herot. All who will soon be invaded by the demonic monster Grendel and the wrath of its mother. Grendel terrorizes Heorot for 12 years. Then the Danes eventually being saved by the noble Beowulf.
- Rising ActionBeowulf arrives to fight the monster.
- Rising ActionBeowulf kills Grendel and Grendel's mother arrives to avenge his death.
- ClimaxBeowulf battles the mother of Grendel, and finally killed them both.
- Falling ActionBeowulf then returns to the Geats, where he is proclaimed a hero. Eventually, he becomes a great king of the Geats. But, Fifty years into his reign, a great dragon is disturbed. And seeks his revenge and wreaks havoc in Beowulf's kingdom.And as king, Beowulf fights, kills the dragon.
- ResolutionEventually, Beowulf dies from his injuries, and is laid to rest with a mountain of treasure to mark his heroic life.
