Yes, we reached as you all know this is the forest, and lets hear a fact, the forest is our lifeline. It controls the amount of CO2, Provides medicines, spices, gums etc., controls soil erosion, help in rain formation, provides timber and many more. But as you know we all are destructing forests mainly through deforestation. Deforestation is the cutting down of tress and destruction of forests on large scale. Some causes are increased demands for timber, wood, fuels, gums and others materials and natural disasters etc.
Oh god! We reached at last.
You are very correct my dear. Do any of you know anything else about conservation of plants and animals?
And some, of the effects of this are, Desertification, reduced biodiversity, water cycle, increased greenhouse gases, flood and drought, soil erosion like what is happening here where the top layer of soil gets washed away by rain or wind. But there are ways to conserve forests like afforestation, reforestation, setting national parks and wildlife centuries.
You are very correct my dear, and to end this I must say it is our sole responsibilities to protect and conserve natural resources present on Earth for the future generations. Our trip is over, lets go back and board the bus.
Yes, miss I read about the RED DATA LIST in the newspaper yesterday. It is a list prepared periodically by IUNC, which contains info about all the endangered species in the world. Some categories are EX - Extinct Species, EW - Extinct in wild species, CE - Critically endangered species, EN - Endangered Species etc.
