After Salva escaped the Gilo river he traveled to another refugee camp in Kenya with a group of boys. Later. There was a list saying you could go to America. Salva also befriended an Irish guy named Michael and he taught Salva a little English. A couple of days passed and Micheal told Salva. Finally, Salva saw his name. He was going to America.
When Salva made it to America, he met his new family. Before the airplane ride, Salva was given a Long sleeved shirt. He realised why he needed it. When he arrived, it was very cold and in South Sudan, Salva never experienced this weather. He saw his new family wearing heavy clothing. He saw everyone wearing heavy clothing.
On a pland coming back from visiting his father, Salva was thinking of a way to get clean water in Sudan. Later. Salva saved money and started speaking to people and audiences.
After Salva finished college, he flew back to Sudan. He had a group of people work on finding the water to install the pipes. He created wells for tons of places in Sudan.
