- As Fortunato follows Montresor down underground in the catacombs.
- Watch your step you don't want to get hurt, on these stairs.
- Isn't it ironic that he does,'t want him to get hurt on the stairs, and miss a step.

- Well I lied, isn't that ironic.
- Hahahahaha!!!!
- This was ironic because he did not want him to hurt themselves going down the stairs but knew he had a plan to hurt him, instead.
