- Oh no I hope I can make itto grandma's house
- THE NEAREST GASOLINE STATIONThere is a town 5 miles to your north there Gasoline Station is 2 miles to the west.
- Angela was on a drive going to her grandmothers house butshe noticed that her gas was close to be empty.
- My gas can only last me 6 miles I hope I can make it.
- She was thinking of ways on how to find nearest gas stationon her way.

- She searched and found that there is one but she isworried if she can reach there.
- She checked her gas and it can last to 6 miles only.
- By using Pythagorean theorem we can see if Angela's gas will last hertill she reach the gas station. 5 squared plus 2 squared is 25 plus 4 which makes it 29 and the square root of 29 is 5.38.
- 5.38 MILES
- So that means Angela was able to reach the gas station because it is only 5.38 miles away and her gas left was good for 6 miles.
