- The triangle shirt waist factory where immegrant women worked long hours, so they could make a living.
- Part 4
- Shirt Waist Factory
- People believe the fire started because someone through away a live cigarette butt.
- Part 5
- The cigarette butt caught fire in a trash can and the fire caught on to some of the shirt. Since there was poor conditions the one hose they did have wasn not connected to a standpipe. So there was no water and the fire continued.
- Part 6
- In less than two minutes the firedepartment arrived. People watched from the streets in horror.
- Women were jumping out of the building to get away from the fire only to die on the concrete. The firemen tried to catch women with nets but they bounced off the nets and crashed on the ground harder.

- After the triangle shirt waist fire people faught hard for workplace conditions to get better and for better change. Conditions enentually did get better and laws were changed and were stronger enforced.
