Exposition: All the people were gathered in the town. There are kids running around and gathering rocks into piles as their parents are talking to each other and watching them.
Rising Action: A black rustic looking box was brought out. Mr. Summers asked if everyone was there. there were a few that were not able to be there. Mr. Hutchinson said that his wife was not there yet. Tessi showed up a little late but they started the drawing of the Lottery.
Here comes Tessie.
Climax: A few names were called, but then the last name chosen was the Hutchinsons. There was four of them. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson and their two kids. There oldest daughter was married into a different family, so she didn't have to go up. Everyone opened their paper and Tessie's won the lottery, because she had a black mark on her paper.
Falling action: Tessie argued that the drawing was unfair. Mr. Hutchinson told her to shut up. The crowd said be quiet Tessie.
Shut up Tessie.
Resolution:All the people, including the kids started gathering around her. They started picking up rock and throwing them at her. A few Older women helped one another throw a boulder at Tessie.
I didn't think that anyone was going to die.
