Punic War #1
Look, there is a ship out there. Maybe, we could copy the design and use it as our own. Because our navy is not very good
Yea that sound like a good idea. We could modify it and a bridge to it. So we can push the bridge over to the enemy ship and fight hand in hand, so we will have the advantage.
lets go attack The Carthaginians while their army is distracted trying to get into Rome.
Punic War #2
If we just wait it out we will get enough supplies to bring this wall down
Punic War #3
Now the Carthaginians will not be able to regain power.
A Carthaginians war ship washed up on the shore, and the Romans found it. They decided to model their war ship after it, but hey added a bridge. The bridge was called a corvus they could push it to the enemy ship so they could fight like they were on land, because that is what they were skilled at. Then the Roman attacked the Carthaginians at sea and won.
The Carthaginians decided to attack the Romans. They were led by General Hannibal Barca. Hannibal's army fought it's way to Rome's wall. When they got to the wall they realized they did not have the materials to get through it. They roamed the country side of souther Italy for 15 years, destroying crops. The Romans Realized that they were distracted and attacked Carthage while there was no one to protect them. Carthage gave them large sums of money and land. Rom won again.
Romans were suspicious that Carthage was regaining power. To make sure nothing would happen Rome attacked, they burned it, and plowed salt into the fields so nothing would grow. The Carthaginians were either killed or sold into slavery.
