  • In the ZigZag road to rights, it is told how back and forth and up and down, side to side people and the country overalls feelings about giving equality and rights to African Americans.The struggle of giving African Americans rights was actively changing throughout history, for it really was a road through history.

  • In What to the Slave, the subject is how slaves, African Americans felt about the 4th of July and how it made them feel. In history this changed when Black people were given freedom and equality, because after they were given that they truly felt like the 4th of July was theirs as well as it has always been/should have been.
