Storyboard Text

  • Man I really like this sun energy!
  • Oh wow this chlorophyll is nice!
  • I need water and carbine dioxide!
  • First, pretty much all living things obtain energy either directly or indirectly from the energy of sunlight captured during photosythesis.  Leamie the Leaf is getting the sun energy in him.
  • I am gonna really like those sugars when the chloroplast produces them.
  • Chloroplast in plant cells captive energy using photosynthic pigment called chlorophyll.
  • I guess im gonna release oxygen.
  • Cells need H2O and CO2 for this stage.  CO2 enters leaves through stomata, H2O enters through the roots.
  • CO2 and H2O undergo chemical reaction in chloroplasts to produce sugars (C6H206) which exit leaves through the stomata.
  • The chloroplast also produces oxygen with the cloroplast.
  • Then, Leamie gets eaten to produce energy for another living thing.
