God made covenant with Abraham to leave his family take his wife and be the father of the nation and lead the Jews. 3. David is to have a child, yet to be born, who shall succeed him and establish his kingdom. A son shall build the temple instead of David. The throne of his kingdom shall be established forever. 4. God made a covenant with Moses so that he could save the israelites from slavery in eygpt.
