- Slides need to be illegal!!
- Step 1: Introduction
- I'd like to propose a bill to make slides illegal
- A mother, after seeing her child fall off of one, decided she thinks slides should be illegal.
- Step 2: Committee Review
- Yes we agree! Slides should be illegal!
- The mother forms a committee of locals and decides to request to her State Rep. that a bill should be passed saying slides are illegal.
- Step 3: Floor debate and Passage
- Slides should be illegal!
- The State Rep. makes a formal proposal to the House of Reps. to pass a bill saying slides are illegal.
- Step 4: Presidential Approval
- Do you agree slides should be illegal? Pass or veto?
- A subcommittee hearing is held to Mark up the bill
- The House of Reps. has a strict and close debate, but the bill is eventually agreed to move foward to the next step of the process.
- Slides shouldn't be illegal!
- In the last step the president has the final say if the bill should become a law or not. In this case the bill is vetoed and not to become a law.
