The Charter created by his Majesty King Charles II Of The English Colony of Connecticut
A corn husking bee is when everybody husks corn together, everybody sings and there is cakes and apple cider.
John and Kit are walking back with each other down the road when Kit asked if John is going to the husking bee. John says maybe, and then John says he likes Mercy and will ask to call on her, but when he goes over to ask Mercy, Judith thought he was asking her.
The new Governor Andros is going to take away the charter with all of the Connecticut colony people's rights, but it got taken and protected by one of the Puritans.
One night Nat and his sailor friends went to Williams house and put jacko-lanters in the windows of William Ashby's house. Nat did it because of pure jealousy of Williams and Kits relationship.
Kit goes to Hannah's house to skip meeting because she didn't want to hear the speach of banishing Nat from coming to Wethersfield. Also, Kit told Hannah of marrying William. Kit learns that Nat has been coming to help Prudence read and write. Kit feels a surge of jealousy when she hears this because she feels like she was missing out.
Prudence learns to write her own name, and is very happy, and wants to keep doing it. Prudence has grown so much. From woebegone to flourished, timid to educated, and scrawny to happy. The three will not be at Hannah's house together again.
