- Gee Whillikers I despise this way of life, how we have been doing it for centuries I cannotunderstand. I hate having to do everything, from making my own clothes, making food an eating it just as fast, and living and as a woman I am expected to do this all and more for no rights!
- That is quite the conundrum mother indeed, perhaps if we would create areas of work run by steam engine rather than animal and invented new machines like a Spinning Jenny to make clothes faster, everyone could buy the clothing instead of making it! We'll call these places factories!

- Now folks, I have brought you here because I want money- I mean, I want to help you guys make money and fix that problem of everyone having to supplement each of their needs. Here, we will specialize in making clothing. Now the work may be monotonous, boring, and perhaps even deadly... but you might get some money (though barely any to sustain yourself) and even maybe might get a few rights! We should also get your kids here to work for even lower wages! Whatdya say?
- Yea!
- Well I mean work may be hard now, but maybe in the future it will get better!

- Man I hate working in the factory. I wish we would just make our own stuff- to each their own or whatever. I hate making everyone else's clothes, why can't we just work from home?
- That is quite the conundrum mother. Perhaps we should use machines to do the work by themselves and call them robots! That way we can stop worrying about this monotonous labor!
