- I choose Aphrodite as the fairest. I want the prettiest woman in the world!
- Paris Gets Helen
- Our father spent many years creating peace. Now you are going to endanger the people of Troy!
- Menelaus and Angamemnon
- I thought you would never ask...
- Would you collect all of your Greek soldiers to go to war with me against Troy. They stole Helen!
- Eris is the Goddess of Discord. Eris throws the Golden Apple of Discord to the three goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. Paris chose Aphrodite as the fairest and excepted his award. This reward for choosing Aphrodite was then receiving the prettiest woman in the world.
- Paris ended up stealing Helen from Greece. Paris's brother, Hector, found out and was very upset. Hector was upset with Paris because King Priam, their father, had spent many years forming peace with Greece. Hector and Paris both knew that this would cause extreme conflict between the two countries yet Paris did not care.
- King Menelaus was the King of Sparta and the spouse of Helen. Menelaus went to his brother, King Agamemnon, who is the King of Mycenae. Agamemnon loves conflict, battle, and war so he agrees with his brother, Menelaus. The brothers then send their troops into battle.
