- Pharaoh the king of Egypt thought that the growth of Israelites was a threat to his power so he tries to destroy Israel by putting them through slavery and labor and making sure all the young boys drown in the river.
- Pick up those bricks! I don't have all day! Do you want to get punished?
- No. I will work faster and harder.
- During all this madness Jochebed a mother put her youngest child Hebrew Moshe in a basket to make sure her son would live and hopefully find a new family.
- My baby boy, I have hid you for three months. It's not safe for you here. I'm sorry.
- A day later Pharaoh's daughter Thermuthis found the Hebrew baby and adopted him and named him Moses.
- I named this baby Moses, as I drew him out of the water. Can you nurse this baby for me? I will pay you.
- Yes, I will do so.
- How dare you beat my people! You deserved death.
- Moses continued to grow and eventually became a full adult. After becoming an adult, he killed an Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew. Moses then escaped to avoid Pharaoh's death penalty and went to Midian.
- After leaving Egypt, Moses encounters a burning bush who is actually God. God tells Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him to let the Israelites go.
- Moses! Moses! It is the Lord. Go to the Pharaoh and get the Israelites out of Egypt.
- My lord, I am unsure as to why you chose me, but I will do as you say.
- Moses told us to put the blood of the Passover lamb on our doorway, so the Lord will passover our home and only strike down the Egyptians.
