- the second trial ran 9 months the longest murder trial in Canadian history ending in Morin getting life in prison
- but eventually he was released on bail until his release he was held at Kingston penitentintiary
- turns out Morin was not the murderer of Christine Jessop and was convicted of something he did not do
- due to DNA testing after Jessops death turns out paul was not the one who sexually assulted jessop and murdered her
- turns out on october 15 2020police identified Jessops murderer was Calvin hoover based on DNA eviedince
