- THE MONKEY AND THE TURTLE
- Long time ago there was a smart turtle and a clumsy monkey.
- They saw a banana tree floating in the river and wanted to plant them.
- You think your clever huh?
- That sounds good
- They divided the tree into half. The turtle took the bottom part and the monkey took the upper part because he thought it would grow faster. They went home and planted their trees.
- Let's split this tree.
- The next day, monkey and turtle met. Turtle's plant had grown into a banana tree but monkeys plant stay the same. Monkey got jealous and climbed turtle's tree.
- Turtle didn't want him to climb the tree so he put some thorns around the tree. Suddenly, the monkey fell on the tree.
- Do you want to go to the river or I shall pound you in a mortar?
- The mortar, the mortar! I am so afraid of getting drowned!
- The monkey got deceived and throw the turtle in the river. But later on, the turtle reappeared swimming and laughing at the monkey.
- The monkey put turtle in the river but the turtle could survive. Monkey was still upset with turtle so he went with him but he couldn't swim, so he drowned.- THE END-
