- This is an example that should NOT be performed, instead always keep floors clean. This is because if a fire were to happen you need to keep the pathway free to get to your exit as quick as possible.
- During a fire always choose your nearest exit, never try and exit where others are. The longer you inhale the fire, there is a dangerous chemical carbon monoxide which can kill you.
- DON'T leave a cable while your phone is charging or any electric things around water. This can give you an electric shock and you're at high risk of death once your skin makes contact with it.
- Smoke alarms are extremely important, in case of a fire they are very helpful to alert you and your family. Smoke alarms are useful when people are sleeping and there is a fire starting.
- To prevent a fire from happening incautiously make sure you turn off all stoves, microwave, etc before sleeping or leaving the house.
- This can be heartbreaking, but it is important to exit on your own for your safety and not help others until you call 911. The firefighters will do there best to come quick to save others from the fire.
