Storyboard Text

  • Newton's first law: An object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it
  • Newton's second law: The force of an object is equal to the mass times its acceleration
  • Newton's third law: When two objects interact they they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction.
  • An example of this would be how this coffee cup is still and will stay that way unless a person or something else makes it move.
  • Newton's second law states that when this boy kicks this ball the ball will move with the same acceleration that was used in his kick.
  • The last law explains that once these two boats crash into each other they will repel back in the opposite direction.
