- Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen. Today we are going to witness the debate of our two students about human flourishing and happiness related.
- Please welcome our students Junel Gelotin from section A and Ma. Olympia Mullet from section B.
- I believe that human flourishing and happiness are related to each other. Human flourishing is the pursuit of self-actualization and fulfillment within the framework of a broader community of humanity, each with the right to pursue his or her own endeavors that leads to his or her happiness and contentment in life.
- Living a nice life is a sign of human flourishing. It is based on Aristotelian ethics, places a high importance on health , and applies to all human beings. All people ought to be able to thrive and realize their capacity for happiness. In pursuing their own objectives and satisfaction, they are free to make use of their values, skills, and abilities.
