- Jakob was so tired, and sick, he could not move. He was transported to a hospital the following day, and left to recover for three days.
- I don't think I'll pass a selection, I'm to weak. In order to survive, I need luck.
- Joseph Mengele arrived at the hospital and selected those who would go to Birkenau, to die.
- You are going with me.
- I'm lucky I passed this selection, I'll probably won't pass the next one.
