- I really do appreciate your honesty Tom but you have to remember actions have consequences and academic dishonesty has a really big consequence at the end of the day. Thank you for being honest and I understand that you have problems outside of school and I will help you through them.
- I am sorry I never do this I just needed a way to do things quicker and I've learned my lesson I won't cheat on my assignments and my projects anymore and I will go to you for any help I need. I appreciate you for talking to me first before telling admin.
- I will leave you off with a warning this time but if this happens again I will need to contact admin. I am going to let you make up the assignments for half credit. Please use your own words and creativity! I know you can do it!

Tom is facing some tough times right now so please give him a sense of understanding and empathy during this tuff situation.
