- Did you hear about the awful Currency Act of 1764 that England just passed!?
- I actually did. I don't really understand why they did this either. England acts like we are irresponsible with money.
- Mom, how are we going to have enough money for things like food now? England's passed this new act and we can't print our own money anymore.
- I don't know sweetie. I don't even understand why England felt the need to do this! This is so stupid on England's part.
- Of course! That will be $1.50, please.
- Hello! Can I buy two apples please?
- It's alright. This act has made money really scare nowadays because of the act.
- I don't have enough, due to this stupid Currency act.
- I guess the only way we can really get anything is to try and trade, since money is scarce and hard to get.
- That's what I think too. England didn't have a valid reason to do this though so I'm still really mad about it.
- I wonder what stupid act England is going to put into action next, I don't think it can get any worse though.
- Knowing England it can get much worse. But I guess we will find out soon enough...
