  • Since all my siblings are in college. I’m the only one responsible for the house chores. At first, I was okay with it until it started conflicting with my school work.

  • I live with my parents and I’m my mom’s right hand. She always asks me to help her do something. I wake up by 5:00 Am every day to pack lunch for my parents. 
  •  I look after every sort of payment be it: electricity bill, phone bills, TV recharges, gas connection bill, etc... When she’s not feeling well she takes some of my home remedies and it works.

  • I wasn’t getting a lot of sleep. I stayed up all night trying to do my assignment. Most of them were for late work credit. And at the end of the semester, the grades on my progress return were bad.
  • You want to know why my grades are bad; it’s because I’m the alarm clock, financial adviser, home teacher, occasional cook, sweeper, banker, helper, electrician, plumber (up to my ability), and do the laundry.

  • This proves that strength does not always determine how to win but friendship, loyalty, teamwork, and the will to succeed.
  •  My mom always checked my progress in school. At first, she was angry and yelling at me. She expects me to keep my head down and just listen to her yell at me. But I didn’t.
