- Slavery must be better than getting killed for my crimes!!
- A lot of the slaves died from diseases. The small, tight places they would have to stay in caused the diseases to spread more easily. Most of the guards/people in charge would cut off their slaves ears to prove purchase, and would make them dance to stay fit. If the slaves were not obedient or were too sick they were simply thrown overboard, they were seen as extra weight.
- Why did you have to cut off my ear?!!
- I feel sick
- YOU ARE GETTING THROWN OFF IF YOU DON'T OBEY, YOU ARE USELESS WEIGHT TO MY SHIP
- IT STILL BURNS!! WHY DID YOU MARK ME
- GET UP AND DANCE NOW!!!!
- 20% of the slaves never saw land again because of all the harsh conditions they had to face.
- They should have just killed me, I'm gonna die here anyways
