  • EXPOSITION
  • CONFLICT
  • I am not feeding you!
  • We are starving!
  • RISING ACTION
  • Attack!
  • In the beginning, we find that the story is set on a farm called Manor Farm. it is run by a person named Jones. The animals on the farm all communicate with each other through a secret meeting. Old major is a wise pig who talks to all the animals. however, we also met three horses, a goat, a donkey, and some dogs as well as some other pigs.
  • CLIMAX
  • Mr. Jones was drunk all the time which stemmed in him becoming poor. He would forget to feed animals and refused to, and often he forget to milk the cows. He was brutal to all of the animals. Therefore, the animals wanted to drive him off the farm. Old Major passed on the knowledge that was needed to do this, and the rest of the pigs started working on the plan. Then they drove Jones off the farm.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • KEEP WORKING! We wont have enough food if we stopped. So continue your work!
  • I am going to win this match!
  • The rising action is the battle. After being eliminated from the farm Mr. Jones and his men showed up and tried to get it back. Snowball is ready and he has an outbreak plan. Some of the animals attack and pretend to retreat to lure the men into the yard. Then the big guns come out such as Boxer the horse. Together, the animals defeat the men and drive them back off. They named the farm as ANIMAL FARM.
  • RESOLUTION
  • The climax is when Snowball is raced off the farm. Napoleon instructed dogs to race Snowball off the farm. They chase Snowball off and Napoleon is the ruler. He starts ruling in ambiguous ways but the animals were too innocent to realize it. Napoleon used to slaughter every animal who confronted him. He took hard work from animals whereas the pigs on the farm do nothing.
  • The falling action is when Boxer is taken away to be slaughtered. Boxer is getting old, but he keeps working. At one point he falls, and he can't get up. Napoleon says he will be taken to a veterinarian. However, this is a lie, and Boxer is actually taken to be slaughtered. Squealer says it was all a mistake, and this is the continuation of propaganda being used on the animals.
  • In the end, Clover glanced through the window of the farmhouse. What he saw was the pigs playing cards. This was prohibited originally, but the pigs had claimed so much superiority that they could now do whatever they want. They were playing cards and Clover saw them as humans when they did this. After this event, the animals on the farm want to rebel against Napoleon.
