  • Hello, thanks for coming Doc! I have been very lonely. Everybody thinks I am crazy. Why am I here? I was found insane but it wasn't anything bad! Its just a disease. But the disease lets me hear everything in heaven, Earth, and most things in hell. I'll tell you the story, but you'll be very shocked how calmly I can tell the story.
  • Climax
  • Once I had the idea, it couldn't get out of my head. The old man was nice and he never insulted me. But his eye, his eye haunted me and whenever I saw it my blood ran cold. So, my idea was to kill the old man.
  • Falling Action
  •  Why is the heart so loud!?
  • For seven long nights, I would go into the old's man room at exactly midnight. I went in there very, very quietly. I would turn of the lantern once I entered just to see his eye was closed.
  • Resolution
  • The body is right here! Tear the planks! I admit it!
  • On the eighth night, I heard his heart. It was louder than the ticks on the clock. His eye was open, so I decided to strike. I threw his bed on top of him. I then saw the the plan was almost finished. I took him to the bathtub of his bathroom and chopped him all up. So far the plan was going perfectly.
  • After I disposed of the body under the planks of the floor, I heard a noise. It was the door. Somebody knocking on the door. It was the police! I welcomed them in. I had nothing to worry about. The body was nowhere to be seen. But I heard the heart. I decided to make a conversation with the officers but it was getting louder and louder!
  • The heart was getting louder and louder. I just decided to confess and admit to my mistakes. I shrieked "Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed! - tear up the planks! here, here! - It is the beating of his hideous heart!"
