- What is Intellectual Property?
- Intellectual Property refers to the creations of mind, including, inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, and images used in commerce. 1
- Intellectual property laws protect the creations of new products of one company being copied from another. 2
- There are 3 main laws in Intellectual Property copyright, patent, and trademark. 3

- And this type of protection is essential for providing creative authors and artists with recognition and economic rewards for their work, which motivates them to continue to create works as well as to protect their work. 2
- Copyright are laws that grant authors, artists or other creators protection for their literary or artistic creations or work. 1
- A patent provides incentives to individuals by recognizing their creativity and offer rewards for their marketable inventions, and in turn increases the quality of daily human life. 4
- A Patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention.3
