- The Iron Curtain basically isolated soviet union from and its dependent eastern and central European allies from open contact with the West and other noncommunist areas.

- This action was the first of its kind to try and stop all of communism from spreading all across Europe. The Truman Doctrine had helped with that but also increased tensions during the war.

- The arms race was meant to slow down and reduce arms through the salt 1 and II agreements. This also wsa the start of the development of the atomic bomb.
- The berlin blockade was an attempt to slow down the US, Great Britain, and France to travel to the sectors of Berlin.
- The Cold war in the skies was a war fought in the air which examined the air power of both sides and what forces could be used. This part was also the introduction of japan getting bombed.
- The USSR was the collapse of the Soviet Union due to the war that had been going on for multiple years.
