- Night falls on the manor farm. You can hear animals leaving their posts
- Animals gather outside the barn and are ready to enter. We can see dogs, cows, horses, boars, and all sorts of animals are there.
- They each enter the barn, and they find an already standing old major inside, they are all ready for one thing; to listen to the old major's dream which he had been pestering them about.
- Old major quickly informs them of how his dream was. He states that in his dream all humans were gone and the animals lived for themselves and didn't have any humans pestering them. He then states that all animals are equal and they should stand together. He also says how he's going to die soon as of his old age.
- He teaches them a song that his mother used to sing. The song is called 'beasts of England'. The animals catch a whiff of it and they all start singing together, not knowing how much noise they were making.
- Mr.Jones the owner of the manor farm awakens after hearing sounds coming from the farm. He then grabs his gun and aims it t the farm thinking that the farm was under attack. The animals quickly scatter out of the barn and return to their posts.
