  • Act 1 Scene 1
  • We hate Caesar a lot!!!
  • Act 1 Scene 2
  • Caesar beware of the 15th of March!

  • Let's kill Caesar by stabbing him!
  • I hope it works.
  • Flavius and Marullus are scolding the villagers for celebrating Caesar. They are taking down decorations in honor of Caesar. This scene is important to the plot sequence because it sets up the whole story and introduces the characters to us.
  • Act 2 Scene 1
  • Brutus please tell me your secret for if I can bear the pain of this cut, I can keep your secret.
  • A soothsayer appears in front of Caesar and tells him to beware of the 15th of March. Caesar ignores the soothsayer because he is not superstitious. This scene is important to the plot sequence because it creates a problem for Caesar but he ignores it.
  • Act 2 Scene 2
  • The mighty Caesar is not scared of anything. For even fear is scared of the mighty Caesar.
  • Casca and Cassius are planning on how to kill Caesar. Cassius thinks that Caesar is bad news for Rome so eliminating him will bring peace in Rome again. This scene is important to the plot sequence because it shows us how the characters plan to kill Caesar and why they want to kill Caesar.
  • Act 2 Scene 3
  • Brutus is awake at night and trying to gather himself. He thinks that he does not have a just cause for killing Caesar. His wife Portia stabs herself in the thigh because Brutus does not tell her what is bothering him. This scene is important to the plot sequence because Brutus, one of the main characters is going through an internal problem.

  • Calpurnia is awakened by a horrible dream she has. In her dream she sees Caesar leaking blood from 100 holes and the villagers bathing in his blood. Calpurnia's tries to stop Caesar from going out of his house. This scene is important to the plot sequence because it is a sign that Caesar is going to be killed.
  • Caesar, you are not going out. I had a bad dream in which you died.
  • Artemidorus, one of Caesar's friends writes and letter to him warning him of the plan to kill him. Artemidorus tires to give the letter to Caesars befores he goes to the senate but ignores it. Later Caesar is killed. This scene is important to the plot sequence because it is a warning that Caesar will be killed.
  • My personal matter is 2nd to the good of Rome.
  • Caesar, please read this letter it's important!!
