  • The French have started to trade Cod with the Mi'kmaq and the British have left after making there stations. Some Missionaries have also come with the french.

  • The french has left and the British have come and also started to trade with the Mi'kamq. The interpreter has also spoke for the British and the Mi'kmaq.

  • France has now started to dominate the fur trade and New France has now now been permanently established. Trades along the St. Lawrence have been a main route for traders and the Voyageurs to travel on. They rivalry would be starting to heat up at this point.
  • The French, Ouendat, Mi’kmaq, Innu and Kichesiprini became partners in the fur trade Which was a good thing until the Beaver War. The Ouendat was also middlemen for the French and other First Nations.
  • The beaver war, British used the war to challenge the French domination of the fur trade and the Haudenosaunee defeated the Ouendat. The Ouendat were no longer the middlemen for the French and the other First Nations.
