  • The veterinarian said, "Faith should be euthanized. She will have poor quality of life."
  • In her book Faith Walks, Stringfellow says many people encouraged her to have Faith put down.
  • Instead, Faith learned to walk.Jude bribed Faith with peanut butter.Her Corgi nipped at Faith's hind legs.
  • People were inspired by the story of Faith and the woman who refused to have her put down.
  • Word began to spread about the dog that hopped on its hind legs.Faith had appearances on shows like Oprah, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and Maury. 
  • According to NBC Oklahoma City, Faith visited more than 2300 wounded soldiers.Her owner, Jude, said, "She wore her ACU jacket proudly, and would get excited when it was pulled out of the closet, as she knew it meant she was about to meet soldiers."
