Storyboard Text

  • Hannibal and his army march across the Rhone River while Roman armies go on the far side of the river to try to stop Hannibal's crossing.
  • Unknown to them, Hannibal sent one of his officers, Hanno and a few of the soldiers, to sneak past the Legionaries of the Roman army and the gols.
  • When Hannibal and his troops crossed the river, the Roman army gathers up to stop them but then get assaulted from the rear from Hanno.
  • Hannibal and his army continue their journey to Italy by going through the Alps which is the most dangerous and possibly impossible to cross.
  • The cost is that the soldiers would freeze to death or get hit by chunks of ice falling onto their heads or slipping off of the slippery ice.
  • Despite the harsh and brutal journey through the Alps, Hannibal's army finally crossed the hardest part to cross, however he lost 72 000 soldiers.
