- Exposition Setting: Nigeria, Before Colonization Characters: Okonkwo, Ikemefuna, Enzima, Mr.Brown, Nwoye, and ObierikaConflict: When new changes come to Umuofia by the white men
- Rising Action - Ikemefuna lives with Okonkwo and then killed- okonkwo kills a clansmen--exiled for 7 years- white missionaries come and build church- okonkwo returns to umuofia- A christian killed the sacred python unmasked-elders are arrested
- Who are you and why are you in my land?
- My God is the only god and I'm here to change things around here.
- When the tribe and okonkwo plan for war a messenger come in. He disrespect the people and Okonkwo decided to kill him. He did one clean swosh with his machete and the messenger died.
- Climax Okonkwo kills a messenger
- Falling ActionOkonkwo kills himself
- After killing the messenger Okonkwo knew what he had failed his people. He realized he failed his god Ani and comes to a conclusion. He kills himself thinking he couldn't do anything else.
- Resolution/ My ConclusionOkonkwo's Body is foundThe ending of the story really shocked me but I think it was cowardly for Okonkwo to kill himself because he couldn't adapt to change.
