SCENE 1: The witches hail Macbeth as thane of Glamis and as thane of Cawdor, prophesizing that Macbeth will become king.
SCENE 2: .Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to kill King Duncan somehow. Macbeth decides that he needs to murder him, even though he is questioning the plan and his motives.
SCENE 3++Macbeth begins to plan the death of Banquo, for he is put in distress over the witche’s prophecy that Banquo’s sons could be kings. He then sees Banquo’s ghost, and is in hysteria because Fleance, Banquo’s son, is still alive.
SCENE 4: Macbeth meets up with the witches to tell them that he would like to learn more about his future. He is told three main things. One, he should keep an eye on Macduff. Two, he won’t face any harm from anyone “of woman born”. And last, he is told he won’t be conquered until Birnam Wood marches to Dunsinane.
SCENE 5: Macbeth believes Macduff is a threat to his throne, so he plans to have his family murdered. Macduff goes to england so he can help Malcolm, and defeat Macbeth. When Macbeth learns this, he hires murderers to kill Macduff’s family.
SCENE 6:Malcolm and MacDuff have joined forces,to overthrow Macbeth. Macbeth was killed.
