Hello I am just some random worker that came back from work and will now talk to the stranger in my house about Public service announcements.
Now for the cliche intro. You might think there is not that much of a difference between duties and responsibility in the american civil system. Well besides the spelling there is some differences, and I will show you some
No don´t I don´t want to get in trouble.
As you can obviously see this image shows a guy that just got ran over by a car and a witness on the right. By law this car driver must report this accident immediately. If not there will be punishments. This is a required thing a citizen must do it is not optional. there fore it is a duty.
call 911
As you can clearly see in this image it is a guy telling another guy to recycle the trash. In this circumstance the person that does not clean up is in the right (Lawfully). It is not a duty to recycle is a responsibility. So you don´t NEED to do it but you SHOULD
clean that up!
me no english
Duties:1. Respect and obey the law2. Pay taxes3. Serving as a jury4. Defending the nation5. Don´t harm/kill
As you can see those are two examples of the differences between duties and responsibilities. But that was only two, here is a list of duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:1. Voting2. Participating in communities3. Respect religion4. Shoveling your drive way5. stay informed
I for one think some responsibilities should be duties. But over all I think they are important because they are the key to our nations success. This country is built by the people and is made for them. If everyone does there part then it will be a stable country if not then it is collapse. Now get out of my house
And that is a small recap of the duties and responsibilities of a U.S citizen and the differences between the two.
