- Then eat me. On Earth, we must all find a way to survive.
- No thanks, I can't take your food away.
- Quetzalcóatl was completely shocked by those words of the rabbit and caressed him with great affection.
- Then he took it in his hands and raised it towards the sky, in the direction of the brightness that the stars give off at night. He raised it so high with his own hands that his silhouette was engraved in the great Moon

- While Quetzalcóatl lowered his arms again with the rabbit in his hands, he observed the magnificent engraving that had remained in the sky.
- Then Quetzalcóatl said goodbye to the rabbit, and thanking him again for his kindness, continued on his way.
- The image of the bunny would remain forever in the sky, to be remembered centuries and centuries by all men who inhabited the Earth as a reward for their goodness.
