We are going to have a science fair next Friday. Anyone who wants to can participate!
At school there is going to be a science fair. What project should I do?
You could do a vinegar volcano!
I can't get the volcano to work! I've tried again and again and it still isn't working!
Well don't get discouraged just keep trying and you will eventually get it to work!
One day in Julia's 3rd grade class her teacher announced that there would be a science fair. Julia decided to join because she thought it sounded cool.
Julia went home that day and told her mom about the science fair. She asked her mom for an idea, her mom told her she should do a small vinegar volcano. Julia thought that was a good idea!
I kept trying again and again and it finally worked!
Good job! I'm proud of you! I'm sure you'll do great at the science fair!
The weekend soon came and Julia started to work on her science fair project. The first time she tried it failed, then it failed again, the third time she thought it was working than something went wrong and it failed. Julia kept trying and kept failing. She then went to the kitchen where her mother was and told her about her problem. Her mother told her that she should get discouraged and keep trying!
Good job!
Yay! I won!
Julia took her mom's advice and continued trying. She tried again and again and again. She continued working, every time she made a mistake she learned from it and didn't do it again when she tried the next time. Eventually after many efforts, it worked! She ran into the kitchen to go tell her mother.
Julia left the dining room and went into the kitchen. Julia told her mom how she kept trying and how she eventually got it to work. Her mom was very proud of her and told her that she was going to do well at the science fair.
The science fair went well and Julia got first place! She was glad that when she failed she kept trying and that she didn't give up because if she did then she wouldn't have accomplished this!
