- King Midos (the ruler of Crete)is an evil very cruel rich man with no heart for others than himself. He torments the people of Athens who are to weak to fight against the people of Crete as the do not have the strength nor power .
- King midos agreed with the people of Athens that he shall no longer invaid but he stated one condition "every year 6 boys and 6 girls shall be sent to my maze of torture (the labyrinth) where they shall meet the most evil monster of all time... the minotaur.
- The minotaur was not any ordinary monster he was a very unique creature indeed. This half man half bull terrorist, horns sharper than the point on a blade was only thirsty for the blood and flesh of an innocent Athens child. With no thought or emotion this terrible tyrant ripped the poor helpless child until every last piece of the unlucky girl or boy was devoured.
- Theseus (the prince of Athens) however was furious with having to every year watch the Athens children suffer, so on the day when the children were sent to the labyrinth to go and face the Minotaur Theseus volunteered as one of the boys and said to the people of Athens "We shall no longer be tormented by this horrible monster, I will go to Crete and kill this beast" And so he went on the boat and went to crete
