  • I need to think about the context more so that is makes the analysis easier.
  • In High School, I just read books without thinking about why the author says what they say.
  • As I read this book, I am able to see the way the author speaks on its intended audience.
  • The analysis lets the intended audience know what the author is saying without fully saying it.
  • This has helped me when reading texts when going to the library and choosing a book that I feel it is intended for.
  • "Notice and Focus" is the first thing to do when critically analyzing a text.
  • I know now that looking at the text in this way makes me understand the appeal to others. Different types of texts have a variety of purposes.
  • 
  • Rhetorical Analysis have taught me that when reading something the first time, it might not be seen deeply but the second time around it will come to you that authors use these rhetorical devices to make a statement of their own.
